Our Meat
All the animals here at Evergreen Farm are Free Range. The recent addition of a licensed cutting room means that Peter and Emma can cut and pack the meat right on the farm.
Please note the weights and sizes listed below are approximate, we will aim to chose a piece which is as close as possible to your order. If the weight is slightly under, we will make up the difference with something else.
The free range meat we have available for order right now:
Free local delivery will be on a Friday, refrigerated postal delivery costs £9.41 for under 10kg, add 25p per kg after that - this will be calculated on checkout.
You can pay online via Paypal, or send a cheque. For local orders cash on delivery is fine.
Free Range Chicken
Our Cobbs are encouraged to go outside by being fed outside. They are fattened naturally by being fed twice daily and are then allowed to scratch and peck for their own the rest of the day.
Whole Chicken (oven ready) - £4.20 per Kg
Free Range Duck
Our Ducks have free access to grassland and water for doing what ducks do best.
Whole duck (oven ready) - £4.50 per Kg
Free Range Lamb
Our flock of 300 Suffolk Cross sheep and lambs has the freedom to roam in open pasture, coming in for extra care during lambing.
Leg of lamb - £6.58 per Kg
Shoulder of lamb - £5.98 per Kg
We also make our own lamb and mint burgers and lamb and mint sausages. Please see our sausages and burgers section for prices and ordering.
Free Range Pork
We keep between 10 - 20 Saddlebacks and Large Blacks at a time. They are totally free range with access to 2 acres of woodland here at Evergreen Farm. We supplement their diet with feed which contains no milk or whey.
BACON (Dry-cured)
Price £10 per Kg
We also make our own sausages, including traditional, cumberland and pork & apple. Please see our sausages and burgers section below for details of prices and ordering.
Venison
Evergreen Farm borders on the edge of the forestry so venison is readily available during hunting season (October to March).

Mixed Meat Boxes
We can pack a mixed meat box like the one below and deliver it on a Friday to anywhere within 5 miles of the farm.
If you would like us to deliver further away, we can pack and post a refrigerated box to you which will keep the meat fresh and cool for up to 36 hours. The box below would weight 10kg and cost £9.41 for refrigerated delivery anywhere within the UK. If ordering online, delivery will be calculated on checkout.

Of course you can choose individual items and add them to you order to make up your own meat selection. Some of our regular customers still enjoy opening their boxes when they don't know exactly what selection of cuts is going to be inside!
Sausages and Burgers
We make our own sausages and burgers here on the farm. Our most popular recipes are listed below, but we can make a batch of your own recipe if you have other ideas! We would ask the minimum order to be 10 sausages for any original recipes. Please contact us with your ideas.
